When and where can I buy tickets?
Tickets for our Winter Retreat will be available for sale on Friday 21st June at 2pm from our store on Big Cartel.
How much will the retreat tickets cost and what does it include?
The tickets will range in price from £300 to £425 (depending on retreat) for the whole weekend including all meals, teas and coffees as well as any workshops offered during the weekend and of course a goody bag. The price of each ticket depends on the type of bedroom chosen. Transport is not included - you will have to make your own way to the venue! 25% deposit will be payable on the purchase of your ticket with the remaining 75% due 8 weeks before the event.
Are the tickets refundable?
The tickets are non-refundable. If you subsequently find you cannot attend for whatever reason - the ticket is deemed transferable - we can usually facilitate transfers to others who register late interest if the event is fully booked. If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond our control you will receive a full refund.
Do we need to bring our own sewing machines?
Yes, please bring your own sewing machine with you. If anyone has difficulties in bringing their own machine, please get in touch with us at [email protected] and we will let you know whether we can lend you a machine for the weekend. Don't forget your power cord and foot pedal.
What else do we need to bring?
Bring all your usual sewing equipment and fabrics for whatever you'd like to work on over the weekend but don't worry, we will provide a suggested list of things to bring nearer the time as well as specific requirements for the workshops.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible and are there disabled bedrooms and toilet facilities?
There are some disabled bedrooms at both of our venues with disabled bathroom facilities. At Folly Farm there are three, two of the rooms are en suite with one with the bathroom next door. There is also a lift from the meeting rooms down to the dining room.
At High Trenhouse there is one en suite disable room. For more info about disabled facilities please email us [email protected]
What are the facilities for the non en suite rooms?
At Folly Farm there are three twin bunk rooms without full en suite facilities. Two of them do have a toilet and sink but no shower room and the third has just a sink. There is a shower room in the corridor. There is one four bunk bed room without en suite and the bathroom for this is up a single flight of stairs.
